After two years working as Chair, and four on Committee in total, I’m stepping away from ConComms for a while. It’s not an easy decision to make, but it’s made easier when I know who’ll be stepping into my role for Octocon 2025.
Kat Dodd will be remaining as co-Chair, to be joined by someone very near and dear to all of us on the Committee, a person who has saved our skins more times than we can count, who’s worked across almost every part of the convention at one point or another. She’s the person who brought both Kat and I onto the Committee via the Programme team, and had been a true and valued friend for many years.
I’m delighted to say that Catherine Sharp will be co-Chair with Kat Dodd for Octocon 2025!
