Robert Cullen is an Emmy nominated Director based in Dublin, Ireland.
He founded the animation studio Boulder Media in 2000 and has worked as a Director and Animation Director on shows such as Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Danger Mouse, The Amazing World of Gumball and Transformers.
In 2021 Robert received the Murakami Award for outstanding achievement in the field of animation. Previous recipients include Jimmy Murakami, Don Bluth and Tomm Moore.
More recently, Robert has moved into the comic scene, writing, and illustrating a series of graphic short stories. His debut book, Ligne de fuite (Fault Lines) was published in August by Blueman in French.
